Donald Rumsfeld – Venusian Commander of Urban Legend?
Both ‘Valiant Thor’ (from Ancient Aliens and AHS) and Donald Rumsfeld went to Washington in 1957. Coincidence?
Val and his companions were from Venus, and landed on March 16, 1957, with a 3-year mission to invite the Earth to join the interstellar community, who had had their eyes on us ever since the atomic bomb blasts in World War II. Val was brought to meet President Eisenhower and Vice President Nixon, who put him up in an apartment at the Pentagon. He traveled and met with many government officials. Then, at the end of his mission, he dematerialized on March 16, 1960.

And regarding Rumsfeld:
In 1957, he came to Washington, DC to serve as Administrative Assistant to a Congressman.

Valiant Thor does not have a Wikipedia page but Rumsfeld does and it is definitely worth a visit. Donald Rumsfeld got around.
In 1957, during the Dwight D. Eisenhower administration, Rumsfeld served as administrative assistant to David S. Dennison Jr., a Congressman representing the 11th district of Ohio. In 1959, he moved on to become a staff assistant to Congressman Robert P. Griffin of Michigan.

And right about the time Valiant Thor went off (1960?)…so did Rumsfeld:
Engaging in a two-year stint with an investment banking firm, A. G. Becker & Co., from 1960 to 1962, Rumsfeld instead set his sights on becoming a member of Congress.

One article suggests VT’s Venusian comrades were living in a spaceship near Lake Mead. The same Lake Mead that is currently in the news for throwing up human remains….no word about Venusians.
The space craft that Val Thor has on Lake Mead is parked in a certain place. Here is some information about it: Parked near the shore of the western-most reach of Lake Mead, east of Las Vegas, Nevada, is Victor One, a spacecraft from an extraterrestrial culture in which the name Commander Valiant Thor is prominent. This is the craft which he commands and uses as his “home” on Earth. Victor One is northwest of Hoover Dam, southeast of Nellis Air Force Base, northeast of the town of Henderson, Nevada, and south of the Gypsum Plant. As of early December, 1988, it was just south of Las Vegas Wash about a mile northeast of the junction of Highways 147 and 166. It can move about.

The internet suggests Rumsfeld had a home in Taos, New Mexico. I could find nothing odd about that place on a quick search…except for something called the Taos Hum, about which Wikipedia says:
An ongoing low-frequency noise, audible only to some, is thought to originate somewhere near this town and is consequently sometimes known as the Taos Hum. Those who have heard the Hum usually hear it west of Taos near Tres Orejas. The Taos Hum was featured in a 1995 episode of the television series Unsolved Mysteries, and it is also mentioned in a 1998 episode of The X-Files.

Maybe Rumsfeld was one of the Venusian comrades…Donn, maybe? Another article says Donn was actually the brother of Valiant Thor but I don’t think I marked it and I have a thousand tabs open.
The total number of crew on Victor One, as previously mentioned, is 200. With Valiant Thor as Commander, there are four crew members who serve in the capacity of Vice Commander. These include Donn, Thonn, Teel and the Medical Officer who is known as “Doc”. These commanders have been chosen to serve until further advised.

The first two pictures are the standard Valiant Thor sightings. The next two pictures are Rumsfeld.
Same Hairline, Same Guy?
It’s a maybe because the hairline works but I thought I read VT had six fingers on each hand and that doesn’t appear to be the case in these pictures (if these pictures are VT). Rumsfeld had the hand span and sometimes the gestures of a polydactyl. Maybe those pictures are just a young Rumsfeld and nobody knew who he was back then. Or maybe it’s a running joke because Valiant Thor kinda sounds like a porno name. In any case, Rumsfeld had an amazing career.
Regarding Dr. Stranges, author of Stranger at the Pentagon:
“Science fiction fans among will you immediately recognize this as the plot of the 1951 movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. But that’s just the first of many red flags festooning this tale.”
B. Dunning, Valiant Thor: Your Friendly Pentagon Alien
Dunning is a credential man and so naturally goes on to question perhaps each and every credential of Dr. Stranges. Regarding people who reportedly confirmed what Stranges wrote, Dunning says:
“Harley Andrew Byrd” is probably not who he says he is. Records on Ancestry.com can’t really confirm or disprove the possibility that Admiral Byrd had a nephew by this name, but his story requires that he would have held a senior role at Project Blue Book with top security clearance and over a year of training behind him, all by the age of 18…Laura Eisenhower is, however, who she claims to be; but is perhaps not the best expert. Her website lists her as “a Global Alchemist, Researcher and Intuitive Astrologist”.

Others find them perfectly, or imperfectly, credible witnesses to very strange events. This site, which is skeptical, says:
“Another reason Thor came to Earth was to spread the message of God. I hope you didn’t spit out your coffee and screw up your computer reading the last sentence. For real, Stranges stated this about Thor: “He told me that his purpose in coming was to help mankind return to the Lord…He spoke in positive terms…always with a smile on his face. He said that man was further away from God than ever before, but there was still a good chance if man looks in the right place.” One must wonder how far Christianity has spread across the Universe…”

and also this (which doesn’t mention a missing belly button but does mention the six fingers…and a companion named Donn):
“Thor came along with three companions: Donn, Jill, and Taniya…Their purpose: share their advanced technology and warn humanity about using nuclear weapons. They’ve been keeping a close eye on us since we used them during World War II. You might expect Val to look like your typical little green man. To Stranges, he’s quite the opposite: “I was on my guard for fakes and frauds. In walked a man about six feet tall, perhaps 185 pounds, brown wavy hair, brown eyes. His complexion appeared normal and slightly tanned.” You can’t quickly point out Thor from the average human crowd, except for his six fingers. According to Stranges, he has a lifespan of approximately 500 years.”
