Reconstructing slavery again and again

The red flags indicate red flags. Any serious movement to abolish slavery must stand firm in its conviction that there can be no compromise when it comes to human freedom. All forms of slavery and involuntary servitude must be eradicated without exception.
Throughout history, attempts to abolish slavery have been undermined by loopholes, exceptions, and half-measures that allowed various forms of exploitation to persist and encouraged others. If you can’t do better than the weak sauce that came before you, stay home.
To truly abolish slavery, we must:
-Remove all legal exceptions that allow for any form of forced labor or involuntary servitude.
-Address modern forms of slavery, including human trafficking, debt bondage, etc.
-Implement robust enforcement mechanisms to prevent and punish any attempts to exploit vulnerable populations.
The fight against slavery requires unwavering commitment. This is not a job for base climbers or deal makers. The deal is slavery must die. THERE CAN BE NO COMPROMISE ON SLAVERY. NO WHAT ABOUTS, NO IFS, NONE OF IT.
NO SLAVERY MEANS NO SLAVERY, NO MATTER WHAT.
