Amygdalin (from Ancient Greek: ἀμυγδαλή amygdalÄ“ “almond”) is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in many plants, most notably in the seeds (kernels) of apricots, bitter almonds, apples, peaches, cherries and plums, and in the roots of manioc.
